Singapore Weekend Photography Community: Alkaff Meanders

Last month, I linked up with the Singapore Weekend Photographers for one of their regular photo walk sessions. The route? A solid city trail starting from Fort Canning MRT, crossing the colorful Alkaff Bridge, and wrapping up in the nostalgic streets of Tiong Bahru.

The skies didn’t exactly play nice—rain hit us mid-walk. Still, the crew pushed through, snapping moments in between umbrellas and reflections. Honestly, the moody weather added an unexpected charm to the shots.

We closed the day at Toby’s Estate, sipping coffee and talking gear, life, and stories behind the lens. I’ll be dropping a photo of that café moment in my next photobook series, so stay tuned.

For now, here are a few selects from the walk—frames that tell the story, rain and all.
