After three packed days of back-to-back meetings in San Francisco, I found myself craving a little peace. So, I decided to treat myself to some photo therapy for the rest of my Thursday.
I asked Chat GPT for advice on where to go, and Pier 39 was the top recommendation. With my trusty Fuji XS20 and new 27mm F2.8 WR lens in hand, I began my stroll from the Hard Rock Cafe entrance. The wind kissed my face, and I couldn’t help but smile at how refreshing it felt.
As I made my way to the west side, I found a haven where people gathered to watch the sunset, their faces aglow with joy. The sounds of walruses and seagulls filled the air, punctuated by the occasional laughter of couples taking selfies and the excited screams of children. It was a moment of pure bliss.
I took a moment to appreciate how grateful I was to be there, soaking in this peaceful yet lively scene. It was one of those moments where you’re present, and the world seems to slow down just for you.
Here’s a little snapshot of my mindful walk. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment of mindfulness to appreciate the beauty around us. Enjoy the view with me!
