I love learning from brilliant minds, especially when they’re out here killing it in the digital world. So when I had the chance to attend a Pinterest conference in San Francisco last week (yes, jet lag and all), I knew I had to make the most of it.
I met two amazing creators based in SF who are thriving in the creator economy: Lauren Janelle (aka @darcybylauren) and Danniella Joy (aka @daniellajoy). These two are not just creating content, they are creating art. Think beauty, fashion, and all things aesthetic that make you want to reorganize your entire closet and maybe treat yourself (or your spouse) to a few new lipsticks.
Scrolling through their Pinterest boards feels like a mini spa for your eyes. No wonder they are pulling in over half a million impressions every month. Half a million!
What truly inspired me was how confidently they share their passions and stay consistent with it. They might be younger than me, but they have serious experience in this space. I was genuinely humbled (and totally hyped) to learn from them. It reminded me that no matter where you are in your journey, there is always something new to learn from the people around you.
Here is to more meetups, more inspiration, and more beautiful boards to pin and obsess over.
